The Baiting Hollow Alumni Association is Finally Here!!!!

Baiting Hollow Scout Camp Alumni Association

Since 1926, Baiting Hollow Scout Camp has been the focal point of Scouting in Suffolk County.  Baiting Hollow has been the major camping facility of the county for over 82 years.  The Alumni Association’s purpose is to benefit the camping facilities and program at Baiting Hollow Scout Camp.

Membership is open to anyone who attended Baiting Hollow at any time in the past 82 years and must be registered with the Boy Scouts of America.  Membership in this organization is a privilege that can be revoked.

Membership fee is $25.00 per year.  Dues are due on a calendar year basis and must be paid by the reunion weekend to be considered current.  The association will conduct two gatherings a year – one in the summer during the camping season and another activity scheduled by the board of directors.  All members will receive a membership card, alumni patch and the current year’s camp patch.

The following operating committees are open to all members of the association to become more active:

• Campership committee – to assist in raising funds to provide for needy scouts to attend Baiting Hollow
• Camp Projects Committee – to propose, plan and oversee various project undertaken by the association
• Program Committee – to plan and conduct the meetings of the association
• Historical committee – to gather research and preserve items of historical value
• Publications Committee – to publish at least semi-annually a newsletter to the association
