Winter Camp is Scheduled for February 17 to 22nd.

Do Something Special this winter!!

It's Not Too Late to Sign Up!!

This is the sixth year that Baiting Hollow will be running a winter camp during the schools winter recess.  Boys will sleep in cabins and eat all meals in the heated dining hall. Activities and merit badges that are offered are different than those offered during the summer. We are looking forward to having different groups come in and give presentations. These groups will include but are not limited to the Fire Department, Police Department, Long Island Wood Carvers Association and several others.

The Program for the week will include time to work on three merit badges. However the main focus of the program will be on group activities, games, and presentations from different groups. A list of merit badges offered is still being finalized.  Merit Badges being offered are weather, radio, citizen in the community, citizen in the nation, computers, Indian lore, First Aid and Woodworking.

The program is open to both troops coming with their own leadership and to boys who would like to camp provisionally.  Provisionally means that boys from different troops gather at camp to form a troop for the week under the supervision of camp provided adults.  All of this for the great price of $225.
