Cub Adventure Day Camp
Summer with warm and sunny weather and a time for having lots of fun is finally here and a fun-filled and adventurous time awaits Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts and Webelos Scouts at Cub Adventure Day Camp. Exciting activities including Archery, Sports, Arts & Crafts, Swimming, and much more take place all week long. Cub Adventure Day Camp runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and before care (8:00 a.m.) and after care (5:00 p.m.) is offered for an additional $25.00 per week. The fee for the first week is $210.00; additional weeks are $145.00, and there’s also a $25.00 per week discount for brothers. Included in the fee are morning snacks, lunchtime drinks, free tee shirt (first paid week of camp only) and Friday barbecue.
This summer, the Cub Adventure Day Camp will be journeying back in time to the days of King Arthur & the Knights of the Roundtable and the Legends of Camelot. The staff and campers will be whisking around the fascinating world of medieval times to the days of imposing castles high on the bluffs, knights in shining armor defending the kingdom, learning about many unimaginable things such as the myths, legends and lifestyles of this magical land and lots more.
Haven’t registered yet for day camp? It’s not too late, there’s still time; don’t miss out on this great opportunity for your son to experience all of the summer fun and excitement. Openings are still available at all of the following locations: Week #1 – Centerport Beach July 7 to July 11; Week #2 – Hoyt Farm July 14 to July 18; Week #3 & #4 - Holtsville Ecology July 21 to July 25 and July 28 to August 1; Week #5 – Amityville Beach - August 4 to August 8; Week #6 & #7 – Centerport Beach August 11 to August 15 and August 18 to August 22.

Camp Locations and weeks for 2008
Change of Location for Cub Adventure Day Camp on July 9, 2008
Due to a Town of Huntington Special Program, the Cub Adventure Day Camp will not be held at Centerport Beach on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 and will be held at Caledonia Park located at 800 Caledonia Road in Dix Hills.
Directions to Caledonia Park located between Wolf Hill Road and Deer Park Avenue are listed on the directions map included in the registration packets, will be available at the Centerport Beach Parent Orientation on Tuesday, July 1, 2008, and also at day camp.
Please make sure you mark your calendars with this important change of location for Wednesday, July 9 only for Cub Adventure Day Camp.
