For Scout Leaders Only there is a wireless hot spot in the Scoutmasters lounge (Training Lodge). Ask at the office for the current password. We know you give up your vacation to bring the boys here. So this way you can stay in touch with work or home while the boys are involved in activities.
Baiting Hollow offers a full selection of things for the Scoutmaster to do while at camp.
We have training programs after dinner most nights so you can catch up on training while at camp.
Scoutmaster Archery Competition, Scoutmaster Rifle Competition, Scoutmaster fire building Competition, Horseshoes and Bocce Ball, Guided Hike (Rounds with the Program Director), Scoutmaster Dinner and Brunch.
Be ready for the Chili cook-off. Bring your best chili recipe and remember presentation counts.
You'll be part of the fun with the Scoutmaster splash at the water carnival or be in several Scoutmaster competitions during the week. Show the boys your skills in archery, shooting, bocce and horseshoes.
Additionally, the Management Team will sponsor a daily “Mugs-up”, Monday thru Thursday, with the adult leaders to check on the progress of each unit’s week of camp. The daily Mug-ups will take place on the Dining Hall Porch directly following Breakfast. The Mugs-up will be with the Program Director or other member of the Management team. Coffee will be available.
Remember the scoutmasters lounge is for you the scoutmaster. A private area where you can relax or work undisturbed. It even has a private shower if you want to clean up. It's air-conditioned and it has drinks available most of the day. In addition, to those who can't completely leave the office there is a wireless internet link available (check at the office for the proper password) if you bring a laptop to check up on your Email.
